Garnette Muders Obituary


Garnette G. Muders, 78, of Aleppo Twp. died Sunday, April 12, 2020 in Brighton Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 8, 1941 in Moon Township, to the late Adam and Jane (Quinn) Lottes. She was a waitress for Allegheny Country Club, Sewickley Heights for many years. Her family was her passion and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Garnette was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Sewickley where she served as a eucharistic minister and also volunteered as a eucharist minister at Heritage Valley, Sewickley. She enjoyed being a den mother for Cub Scout Troop 423, was an avid reader and bingo player and loved her cats. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Sewickley Library.  She was a member of the Sewickley VFW Ladies Auxillary. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was a brother, George Lottes. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Harry P. Muders, Jr., a son and daughter-in-law, Harry P. and Cindy Muders III, granddaughter, Violet Muders and a sister, Ruth Lah of Vandalia, OH. Due to the current health and wellness concerns funeral services and burial are private. A memorial Mass will be held at a future date. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.
