Frank Roppo

Frank Roppo, 89, of Baden, died Sunday, October 23, 2022 at his home. He was born January 29, 1933 in Ambridge, to the late Anthony and Maria (D'Agostino) Roppo. He was a retired crane operator for the former Wycoff Steel Company. Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War. Preceding him in death in addition to his  parents were his wife, Virginia (Wagner) Roppo and four siblings, Kay Damon, Nick Roppo, Anne Cardamone, and Jean Burka. He is survived by a daughter Lynn (Jeff) Lint of Independence Twp., a son Frank Paul Roppo of China, two grandsons, Mitchell M. (Jessica) Poore of Independence Twp., Garrett J. Poore and his fiance, Ella Smelser of Monaca, brother, Arthur Roppo of Baden, two sisters, Marge Roppo of CA and Beatrice Martin of Harmony Township, along with nieces and nephews. There was no public visitation or services held. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.
