Frances VeZolles, 93, of Harmony Twp. was received into the loving arms of her heavenly Father on Friday, December 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 4, 1930, in Pittsburgh, to the late Anthony and Francesca (LoCascio) Romano. Of most importance to her was her family and faith. Frances was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Felix Church, Freedom where she was a former Catechism teacher and member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her three sisters, Mary Pusateri, Loretta Fraietta, Anna Reif and a brother, Leonard Romano. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Harold VeZolles, Jr., four loving daughters, Celeste VeZolles, Janine VeZolles, Sharon VeZolles and Michele (Daniel) Kennelly, grandchildren, Marissa Dinello, Gina (Ryan) Skelton, Stephanie (Michael) Capito, Daniel Kennelly, Jessica Kennelly, Steven Kennelly, Matthew Kennelly, Luke Kennelly, Joshua Kennelly, and Nathan Kennelly, great grandchildren, Riley Skelton, Zoey Skelton, Hadley Skelton and Asher Capito. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-7 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Felix Church. Interment will follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Gibsonia. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of one's choice. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Good Samaritan Hospice for the loving and compassionate care extended to Frances in her final days.
