Frances Farrelli

Frances (DeGori) Farrelli, 90, a resident of Concordia at Villa St. Joseph, Baden, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2019. She was born December 8, 1928 in Sewickley, to the late Charles and Mary (Lolli) Giammaria. She was a long time active member of St. James Catholic Church, Sewickley. Frances enjoyed playing bingo, cards, the Pennsylvania lottery, and slot machines. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were two husbands, Leo DeGori and Thomas Farrelli, two sisters, Pauline (Polly) Giammaria and Josephine (Josie) Polacek. She is survived by two sons, James P. (Jeannine) DeGori of Leetsdale and Leo J. (Cindy) DeGori of Economy, three grandchildren, James (Megan) DeGori and Adrian DeGori, all of Leetsdale and Jaymie DeGori of Conway, five great grandchildren, James, Isabella, Natalie, Gianni, and Marco DeGori, a sister, Eleanor Shemelya of AZ, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. At Frances's request, there was no public visitation. Private burial will take place in St. James Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc.
