Obituary
Eugene J. Smith Jr., 76 of Franklin Township, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, in Caring Heights Nursing Home. He was born May 12, 1946, in Butler, a son of Eugene J. Smith Sr. and Magdalina Szali. He was a member of Ellwood City Hungarian Club, Harmony Loyal Order of Moose, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a retired welder from Pullman Standard. Surviving are his wife, Jackie Smith, 3 children Christina L. Smith, Eugen J. Smith III, Michelle R. Mullins, 3 grandchildren Zachary Mullins, Joshua (Kassidi) Mullins, & Mia Smith, 3 great grandchildren Kaden Mullins, Eli Mullins, & Jaden Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 sisters and a brother. Per Eugene's wishes, there will be no public visitation.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.
