Eugene Lewis

Eugene Lewis, age 84, a resident of Concordia at Villa St. Joseph, Baden, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Heritage Valley, Beaver. He was born on April 8, 1937 in Butler, to the late John Henry Lewis I, and Madeleine (Christley) Lewis. He was a 1955 graduate of Leetsdale High School and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.  He was a retired housekeeping supervisor at Ft. Leavenworth Army Base, Leavenworth, KS. He is survived by two sisters, Lyvonne Wesche of Leetsdale, and Judith Dodson of Port Orange, FL and one brother, K. Paul (Clare) Lewis of Maryville, TN, sisters-in-law, Anna McCormick of Sewickley, and Gerry Harding of New Brighton, brother-in-law, John Brown of Cabot, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Gene was predeceased in death by siblings, Francis McCormick, V. Dianne Brown, and John Henry Lewis II.  Friends will be received on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 2 PM until time of services at 5:30 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA.  The Rev. Jill McGregor will officiate.
