Elizabeth J. Rollins, a life long resident of Leetsdale, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Appleblossom Sr. Living, Moon Twp. at the age of 95. She was born on October 20, 1926 in Leetsdale, to the late Milton and Katherine (Messmer) Hatton. She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sewickley and had a passion for sewing. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were 2 daughters, Mariellen Rollins and Louise Rollins, a grandson, Nicholas Bosh, sister, Catherine East, and four brothers, Raymond, Milton, George, and Richard Hatton. She leaves behind her loving husband of 72 years, Fred R. Rollins, three sons, Frederick J. (Donna) Rollins of Port Orford, OR, William M. (Janet) Rollins of Atlanta, GA, George D. (Gail) Rollins of Center Twp., 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister, Sara (Don) Bossier of Pittsburgh, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6 until time of funeral services at 7:30 PM at the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Her pastor, the Rev. Ryan Kobert will officiate. Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Washington County. Anyone who wishes to attend the burial service are ask to meet on Monday, August 22 at 12:15 PM at the Syka Funeral Home where the funeral procession will leave promptly at 12:30 PM for a 1:30 PM Committal Service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
