Elizabeth Petalino

Elizabeth Petalino, 74, of Cranberry, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in UPMC Passavant. She was born on December 30, 1946 in Sewickley, to the late John and Helen (McCrea) Schaper. She was a retired secretary for Leetsdale Boro with over 20 years service. Elizabeth was a member of Good Samaritan Parish, Ambridge. Next to her family, her passions in life included quilting and spending time with her "Stitch and Bitch" girls who spent more time bitching than stitching. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband Michael Petalino. She is survived by a daughter, Lucy (Jerry  R.) Porter of Leetsdale and a son, Adam (Dereka "Bree") Petalino, of Ligonier, four grandchildren, Mackenzie Elizabeth Porter, Dylan Thomas Porter, Jacob Michael Petalino, and Anthony James Petalino along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters- in-law. There was no public visitation. Funeral services were private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 North Linden Street, Duquesne, PA. 15110 Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.
