Elizabeth Meshanko, 91, of Ambridge, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Marshall Twp. She was born on May 24, 1930 in Sagamore, PA to the late Joseph and Anna (Slenchak) Gulish. She was a retired book keeper for the Beaver County Tax Office and a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Ambridge where she was a faithful pierogi worker. She was an avid bowler. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Joseph Meshanko on January 4, 2016, five siblings, George, Joseph, Andrew, Margaret and Anne. She is survived by her three sons, Joseph J. (Donna) Meshanko of Cranberry Twp., Edward Meshanko of Harmony Twp. James A. (Christine) Meshanko of Fairfax, VA, five grandchildren, Julianne Sivillo of Pittsburgh, Jennifer (Mike) Marron of Parker, PA, Sam, Max and Grace Meshanko and numerous nieces and nephews. A private Divine Liturgy for the Repose of her soul was held on Friday in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church with her pastor, Father Geoffrey Mackey as celebrant. Private interment followed in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. Ambridge.
