Elaine Witowich Obituary

Elaine B. (Spinelli) Witowich, 70, of Baden, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family after a year long battle with cancer. She was born on May 21, 1951 in Sewickley, to the late Dominick and Louise (Stickley) Spinelli. She worked as a receptionist for Opthamology Associates in Sewickley. She was an avid reader and enjoyed walking. She was the proud founder of Ambridge Memories on Facebook who just celebrated their 10th anniversary. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her twin grandchildren, Brionna and Braden Cunningham, a brother, Michael Spinelli and Eve Spinelli, in-laws, Nick and Dorothy  Witowich, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dorothy "Sis" and Bill Cousins, brother-in-law, Donald Larrick, Sr., She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert  M. Witowich, three daughters, Soni (Scott) Zimmerman of Crescent, Amy Pawelkoski and fiance Ted Gadzak of Conway, Robyn (Rich) Cunningham of Ambridge, eight grandchildren, Rachael (Nick) Raymond of Indiana, PA, Ryan (Taylor) Zimmerman of Bridgeville, Jacob Zimmerman of Crescent, Justice, Jayda and James Pawelkoski, all of Conway and their father, James Pawelkoski of Ambridge, Matt Cunningham of Baden, Carson Cunningham of Ambridge, two brothers, Dominick and Bill Spinelli, both of Baden, two sisters, Chris (John) Yeck of Freedom,  Cindy (Mark) Zimmerman of New Mexico, three brother-in-laws and sister-in- laws, Steve (Marie)  Witowich of Kentucky, Bill (Beth) Witowich of New Brighton,  Michael (Jane) Witowich of Texas, sister-in-law, Patty Larrick of Ambridge, sister-in- law, Cyndi Witowich of Baden, and Shawn Hallas of Baden, fur babies, Halo and Stormi, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. At Elaine's request, there was no public visitation. Private inurnment will take place in St. James Cemetery Columbarium. The family would like to thank Dr. Rahim Remtulla and the staff of Hillman Cancer Center, Moon Twp. and Good Samaritan Hospice for the loving and compassionate care extended to Elaine during her illness. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Ambridge.
