Edward "Eli" Rodich

Edward (Eli) Rodich, 89, of Moon Township, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, after a brief stay at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. He was a resident of Moon Township since 2000. Born July 2, 1932, in Aliquippa, he was the son of the late Milos and Mildred Rodich. He retired from the Aliquippa and Southern Railroad in 1985 and from the Commonwealth of PA as an auditor in 2002. Eli came from a large family of ten children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George Rodich, Milo Rodich, Steve Rodich, and two sisters, Dorothy Goydich and Joanne Cercone. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sophie Rodich, son and daughter-in-law, Eli and Sally Rodich of Kirkland, Washington, daughter, Jennifer Dinterman of Beaver, granddaughter, Ami (Patrick) Kennedy of Conway, great grandson, Christopher, two brothers, Duke Rodich of Beaver, and Art and sister-in- law, Louise Rodich of Sun Lakes, AZ, two sisters, Nadine and brother-in-law, Ron Yuhasz of Glendale, AZ, and Sarah Nenadovich of Beaver, sister-in-law, Louise Rodich of Aliquippa, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins. As per his wishes, there was no public visitation. Private interment with full military honors provided by the Beaver County Special Unit and the US Army took place in Economy Cemetery.   The family is grateful to the nurses Jennie, Brittany, Candace, Denise, & Kathy at Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.  The family suggests memorial donations be made to PFWPA (Parkinson's Disease), 575 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202.  Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Ambridge, PA.
