Douglas C. Taylor

Douglas C. Taylor, 54, of Baden, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, in UPMC Passavant. He was born on January 17, 1969, in Altoona, to the late Ron and Lois (Conrad) Taylor. He was a graduate of Bellwood High School and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Batchelor of Science Degree in psychology. He was a member and elder of the former Ambridge Alliance Church and was very passionate and diligent in studying the word of God. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed walking in nature and gardening. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Dorinda (Johnson) Taylor, two children, Monique Taylor of Pittsburgh and Brandon Taylor at home, a brother, Steven (Doris) Taylor of Butler, two sisters, LuAnn (Rich) Shoop of Tipton, PA, Becky (Tom) Thon of Thurmont, MD, stepmother, Florine Taylor- Feather of Ocala, FL, two stepsisters, Shannon Weakland of Columbus, OH and Kathy (George) Myers of Huntington, PA and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, 301 Adams Street, Rochester, where a memorial service will be held at 11 AM. His former pastor, Rev. David Smock will officiate.
