Dorothy Ann Yannick

Dorothy Ann Yannick, 81, of Aliquippa, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 15, 2024, at Apple Blossom Personal Care, Moon Township, where she had been a resident for a short time. She was born on January 4, 1943, in Aliquippa, to the late Alex and Anna (Czuczko) Kowalick. She worked in the kitchen at Aliquippa Hospital retiring with 32 years of service. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Andrew H. Yannick, Jr., on December 18, 2023, three brothers, Walter, John, and Nick Kowalick, two sisters, Ann Maz and Katherine Ziomek. She is survived by two stepdaughters, Susan Greenwald and Christine Yannick, both of Coraopolis and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at Noon in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hopewell Township. The family would like to thank the staff of Apple Blossom Personal Care for the loving and compassionate care extended to Dorothy during her final days there.
