Dorothy J. Kmieciak

Dorothy J. Kmieciak, 84, of Economy, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian. She was born on October 27, 1938, in West Aliquippa.  Her passions in life included working in her yard, watching golf tournaments on TV, and doing jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed her pets and was a caregiver to many of her family members over the years. Dorothy was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Anthony Kmieciak. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Earl) Christian of Bainbridge Twp., OH, stepson, Mark (Laurie) Kmieciak of TX, stepdaughter, Debbie Vanio of Pittsburgh, and two step-grandchildren, Ryan Kmieciak and Sean Vanio. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where prayers will be offered on Friday at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
