Doris J. Shaffer

Doris J. Shaffer, 80, of Conway, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. She was born October 5, 1942, in Kempton, Garrett Co., MD to the late Lloyd and Stella (Smith) Taylor.  Doris enjoyed volunteering at Old Economy Village and Sewickley Hospital. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Delbert Shaffer, two brothers, and a sister. She is survived by two daughters. Nancy (Kevin) Shroyer of Center Twp., Sue Shaffer of Coraopolis, a son, Scott (Lisa) Shaffer of Rochester, four grandchildren, Nathan Shroyer, Nicole (Chris) Liberati, Matthew, and Caitlin Shaffer, and a brother, Russell Taylor.  A private visitation and funeral service took place on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr., Ambridge. The Rev. Rich Grassel, pastor of Christian Missionary Alliance Church officiated. Private interment took place in Sylvania Memorial Park.
