Doris M. Pegher

Doris M. Pegher, 80, of Marshall Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2022 in Canterbury Place Hospice, Lawrenceville. She was born on December 16, 1941 in Sykesville, Jefferson County, PA to the late Dorsey and Bertha (Frantz) Salada. She worked as a loving caregiver for many families over the years. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her siblings, Bob, Glen, and Richard Salada, Eleanor (Louise) Brutout, Lucille Brown and Mike Pegher. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, David Pegher, son, Joe (Mary) Pegher of Gibsonia, three grandchildren, Michael Pegher of Cranberry, Dustin Pegher of Wexford, Matthew (Amanda Beck) Pegher, two great grandchildren, Mila and Amelia Pegher. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4  and 6-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11 AM with the Rev, Steve Hodges officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery, Marshall Twp.
