Dolores Kolesin

Dolores Kolesin, 88, of Economy passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. She was born on July 23, 1934, in Ambridge. She was married to the love of her life Henry Stanley John in 1954. Dolores was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and entrepreneur. She was a longtime member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, Ambridge. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Henry and her son Michael Samuel. She is survived by a daughter, Kristine Kolesin of Economy and a grandson, Michael Jon-Henry Kolesin of San Diego, CA. She will remain forever in one heart of her daughter Kristine and her grandson, Michael. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from Noon until time of funeral services at 1 PM at Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, 210 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Her pastor, The Very Rev. William J. Evansky will officiate. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Holy Ghost Orthodox Church. Arrangements are entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.
