Diane Miller Obituary

Diane Miller, 78, of Crescent, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Brighton Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, Brighton, Twp. She was born on October 31, 1942 in Pittsburgh, to the late George and Edna (Gerstle) Dellitch. She was employed at Sandy's Deli, Glenwillard, was secretary for Creswell Heights Water Authority, worked as a courier for Gelco Courier, Carnegie, drove a school bus for Moon School District, and was a secretary for Graybar Inc, Pittsburgh. She was a member of Glenwillard United Methodist Church. She enjoyed target shooting, and was the Women's Junior State Small Bore Champion in 1960. She was featured in the Post-Gazette as "Pittsburgh's Annie Oakley".  She enjoyed sewing and making cards on her computer for all her friends on holidays. Diane was a member of the Crescent Twp. Civic Club and former member of the Teamsters. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Earle Miller, a son Brian Miller, two grandsons, Blake Miller and Sean Fortuna. She is survived by her children, Deborah  (Walter "Skip") Fortuna of Ambridge, Todd Miller of Crescent and Cheryl Miller with whom she resided, grandchildren, Kristina Fortuna, Brittany Fortuna, Tyler (Jazmen) Fortuna, and Clinton Miller, great grandchildren, Brayden and Ariella Fortuna. There was no public visitation. Funeral services and interment were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. of Ambridge.
