Darryl G. Waters, 68, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024, at UPMC Shadyside with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 10, 1956, in Pittsburgh, to Mary (Chatham) Waters of Pittsburgh and the late Walter Waters, Jr. Darryl was a hard worker having worked as a meat cutter at Giant Eagle. His passions in life were fishing and watching sci-fi and crime shows. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was honored to know him. Preceding him in death in addition to his father were his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Genevieve (Daugherty) Chatman, paternal grandparents, Walter and Jeannette (Brown) Waters, Sr. and great nephew, Jordan Martin. Surviving in addition to his mother are his siblings, David Waters of Pittsburgh, Dianne Waters and her children, Tori Bennett, April (Owen) Martin, and Emily Bennett, Debbie Waters and her children, Summer and Bunny Vaught. There was no public visitation. Services and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA.
