Cynthia Young

Cynthia Young, age 74, a longtime resident of ARC Human Services, Brighton Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Heritage Valley, Beaver Campus. She was born on June 10, 1949, in Sewickley, to the late Clifford and Shirley (Bruce) Young. She loved and cherished her baby doll family, Baby Pam, Baby Vernice, and Baby Lori. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was a brother, Allan Young. She is survived by three sisters, Vernice (Tom) Connell, of Robinson Twp., Lori (Stephen) Sherman of Spotsylvania, VA, Pamela Young of Beaver Falls, a brother, Craig Young of Economy, three nephews, Stephen, Matthew, and William (Robin) Connell, two great nephews, Brady and Caden Connell and her extended family who loved and cared for her at ARC Human Services. Friends will be received on Monday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc, 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge. The Rev. Jamie Fowler, pastor of Concord Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Sewickley Cemetery.
