Sister Catherine (Ed) Macbeth of Ormond Beach Florida and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her guard dog Daisy. She will also be missed by her “grand pets” that she loved to talk about. No matter if they were dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, horses or whatever other animal her children brought home she loved them all and enjoyed their visits. “Gigi” was also looking very much forward to the birth of her first grandson Levi. Cindy was preceded in death by her father Richard and sister Vickie. Cindy was a 1988 honors graduate of Ambridge Area High School where she raved about being in the choir and the editor of the school's newspaper. Following high school, she attended the Community College of Beaver County where she focused on her true passion Human Resources. Working at Allegheny Country Club for 30+ years and most recently being the Executive Director of Homemaker Home Health in Beaver. She truly did have a special touch for workers' rights, workplace success and benefits. Many lifelong friends were made during her tenure and were considered family. Cindy was also known for her special touch of life. She could light up a room with her humor, personality and loving touch. Known by her children for almost single handedly keeping online auctions and antique shops alive she proudly managed to redecorate her entire house to mimic a Victorian era palace. She cared for people no matter what they needed and always found a way to make their days better and brighter, a valued skill that she instilled in her children. Friends will be received Monday June 9th from 12-4 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home 833 Kennedy Drive Ambridge, from where a small funeral service will be held at 4 PM with Pastor Richard Gelfand officiating.
