Charles Friel

Charles Friel, a lifelong resident of Economy, died Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in his home. He was born on November 28, 1958 to the late Thomas and Irene (Schermerhorn) Friel. He was a farmer his entire life working the 100 year old Friel family farm. He is survived by his four brothers, Richard Friel of Economy, Robert (Bonnie) Friel of North Carolina, Donald J. (Linda) Friel of Economy, Frederick T. Friel of Phladelphia, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery.
