Carl P. Bartoles, 87, of Economy, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice of Beaver. He was born December 17, 1931 in Aliquippa, to the late Charles and Matilda (Elich) Bartoles. He was a retired employee of Aliquippa and Southern Railroad with 42 years service. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Korean War. Preceding him death in addition to his parents were his wife, Louise Marie (Minnici) Bartoles, a son, Carl C. Bartoles, three sisters, Caroline Merulli, Ann Kostial, and Tillie Stein, three brothers, Pete Bartoles and Rudy and John Skrlac. Surviving are two daughters, Kathie (Mark ) Huey of Economy, Karen (Rick) Cunningham of Hermtitage, five grandchildren, Megan and Alaina Huey, Tiffany and Nicholas Landon and Chloe Cunningham, a sister, Mary Skrlac of Brighton Twp. and numerous nieces and nephews. At Carl's request, there was no public visitation. Private interment will full military honors provided by the Beaver County and the US Army will be in Economy Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for the loving and compassionate care given to Carl.
