Betty Ruth Iocca was a caring mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. She left this world suddenly on Friday June 4th, 2021 at the age of 73. She was preceded by her parents Alvin J. and Ruth E (Marenovich) Iocca Sr. and a brother Alvin J Iocca Jr. She was born October 20, 1947 in Sewickley and was a lifelong resident of Economy Boro. She is survived by her loving companion Norman Martin, his children and siblings. Her sons Kenneth Lewis, Chuck Lewis, Sister in law Linda Iocca, niece Kelly (Iocca) Smith, nephew David Iocca and seven grandchildren. Betty enjoyed spending time in the kitchen where she made some of the best lasagna and chicken dishes. She loved to hear how the grandchildren were doing in school and what activities they participated in. She never missed sending the grandchildren cards for their birthdays and holidays. Betty was retired waitress from Eat n Park, and later found a calling as a part time home healthcare provider caring for the elderly. She always enjoyed serving and helping people. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6 until time of funeral services at 7:30 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. The Rev Jill McGregor, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be private.
