Bertha Louise Rudolph

Bertha (Louise) Rudolph, 92, of Baden, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in her home. She was born on February 19, 1931, in Washington, PA to the late Mario and Mildred (Gallaher) Paglisotti. She worked as a registered nurse at Sewickley Hospital, the former Rochester Hospital and finished her career doing home health at Heritage Valley, Beaver (formerly the Medical Center, Beaver) She was a longtime active member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, St. John the Baptist Church, Baden where she sang in the choir, was a member of the Christian Mother's Ladies Guild and faithfully worked the pierogie sales. She enjoyed quilting, working in her flower garden and was an avid reader. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Walter (Rudy) J. Rudolph, twin brothers, Marion and Matthew Paglisotti, brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Shirley Paglisotti and son-in-law, Calven Hartman. She is survived by her four children, Deborah Hartman of Baden, Mary Kay (Rocco) Ferri of Center Twp., Joe (Marcy) Rudolph of Baden, Richard P. Rudolph of Verland Foundation, Sewickley, 3 grandchildren, Andrew (Heidi) Rudolph of Sarver, PA, Katie (Matthew) Dutkovich of Jennette, PA, Christy (Anthony) Branchetti of Hopewell Twp., 2 great granddaughters, Nora Dutkovich and Emma Schoenfeld a sister, Dorothy Mazak of Vandergrift, PA, a brother, Henry Paglisotti of Midland, sister-in-law, Jean Paglisotti, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-5 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Baden. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Verland Foundation, 212 Iris Road, Sewickley, PA 15143.
