Arthur J. Fisher, 67, of Baden, passed away on December 15, 2021. He was born on March 22, 1954 in Sewickley, to the late Marjorie M. (Musi) Fisher. He graduated from Quigley Catholic High School in 1972 and subsequently attended California University of Pennsylvania. His professional career was highlighted by 34 ½ years of service to Standard Steel Specialty Company in West Mayfield, PA as Vice President of Sales. He took great pride in keeping the steel manufacturing company operating in the same location since its inception in 1924. He truly loved the hustle and bustle of a busy work environment and continued to work daily until his passing. Outside of work his greatest passion was cooking – especially cooking for his family and friends during the holidays. Exploring new restaurants and providing dining experiences for his favorite people gave him the greatest joy. He was always searching for the next meal that would “Wow” him! He had a wonderful manner with young kids, as they were always drawn to his playful antics and unanticipated front flips into the swimming pool. This was never more evident than in recent years when his favorite neighbors, the Dobich Family, spent time playing at the “pool house” during warm summer days. His booming voice, generosity, big heart, and love of life will always be remembered, and greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Alexandra (Elliot) Riley of Centre Hall, PA, two sisters, Carol (Rodney) Picklesimer of Mason, OH, Barbara Watson of Baden, nieces and nephews, Lisa (Dave) Collins, Jennifer (Jeff) Granitz, David (Christine) Giles, Kimberly (Larry) Hill, Patrice (Maurice) Fisher, and Michele (Brian) VanBalen, along with great-nieces, great-nephews, and many cousins. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time of blessing service at 3:00 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Baden Volunteer Fire Department 47 Firehouse Lane Baden, PA 15005 in memoriam, to help support the local community in which he resided his entire life.
