Anne (Medianowsky) Walko

Anne Medianowsky Walko, 100, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Masonic Village, in Sewickley.  She was born in Ambridge, on August 28, 1924, to the late Samuel and Anna (Karpenic) Medianowsky.

Anne’s passion in life was spending time with her family and her devotion to God.  She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Anne is preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Joseph Walko; Son, Joey Walko, 4 brothers, Michael (Tillie), John (Stella), Paul (Anne), and Frank (Helen); 3 sisters, Helen Hlista (Pete), Mary Viti (Donald) and Tillie Hunter (John).

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for a visitation, on Sunday, from 1-5 PM, in the John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, 15003, from where prayers will be offered on Monday, at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10 AM, in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
