Anna “Re Re” Marie (Becker) Kusnirak

Anna Marie “Re-Re” (Becker) Kusnirak, age 85, born September 25, 1936, in Leetsdale. Annie has taken her final journey Home to be welcomed at the Gates of Heaven into the loving arms and warm hugs of her mother and father, Marie (Concelman) and Albert Becker along with 2 of her 3 brothers Laird Becker and Sam Becker and her sister-in-law Marion Becker.

Anna Marie leaves behind her husband, Bob Kusnirak of whom she was married to for 65 years. She was a loving mother of Sheri (Nemo) Anderson of Baden, Ken (Adrienne) Kusnirak of Crescent Twp, and Robin (Bob) Garvin of Sewickley.  She also leaves behind her best friend and beloved brother, Albert (Jackie) Becker, Mokena, IL and her loving and dearest sister-in-law, Delores Becker of Sewickley.

She was initially a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Leetsdale and later St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sewickley.  Anna Marie retired in the early 1990’s as a secretary from the Quaker Valley School District. Since her retirement, she had enjoyed spending all of her summers at their camp in Slippery Rock.  But more than anything, she loved spending time not only with her children, but her grandchildren Brandon (Lindsay) Turcovsky, Jocelyn (Eric) Couch and Travis Kusnirak.  Even more importantly, she felt blessed to enjoy the time with her most prized 3 great grandchildren Brayden, Danica and Zackary.  Anna Marie felt blessed to have the love of her many nieces and nephews as well. 

Re-Re will be missed by all of those friends and family whose heart she deeply touched, Re-Re may not have been a world traveler, but she loved her family dearly and placed everyone else’s needs before her own.  She was the best mom ever.  You gave so much love, we can only hope that you received much more in return.   Until we meet again.  We will always love you, Mom. 

As per Anna Marie’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Leetsdale Garden Club c/o Leetsdale Borough Building, 373 Beaver Street, Leetsdale, PA 15056.
