Angeline Marie (Villella) Catanzariti

Angeline Marie Catanzariti, 88 of Ambridge, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, in Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born October 11, 1936, in Fair Oaks, a daughter of the late Francis and Mary Villella. 

Angeline graduated from Ambridge High School and the Business Training College as a Medical Secretary.  She worked for Dr. Landay, then the Internal Medicine Associates in Ambridge.  She was a member of the former Christ the King and Good Samaritan Church where she served as President of the Christian Mothers Ladies Guild at both parishes.  She was also a cantor and choir member and sang with the BVC Society.  She received manifesting the Kingdom Award in 2006 and the Marcus O'Brian award in 2017.

Surviving are her 3 sons, Frank (Ellen) Catanzariti, Michael (Nancy) Catanzariti, and Paul (Mary) Catanzariti, 6 grandsons, Joseph (Tori), Daniel, Stephen, Samuel, David, of Ohio, and Dr. Joshua Catanzariti, of Ellwood City, 2 great grandchildren Dominic & Silvia Catanzariti, of Ohio, and her sweetheart Ed Brennan.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her loving husband Dominic Catanzariti, sister Mary Ann Knoll, and a brother Natale Villella.

Friends will be received on Monday from 4-8 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA, from where a prayer will be offered on Tuesday at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in the Good Samaritan Catholic Church-St Luke the Evangelist Parish.
