William "Bill" E. Lavelle, 64, of Bell Acres Boro, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 16, 2019.
He was born May 12, 1955, in Sewickley, to the late Doris Smith Lavelle and Harry Lavelle of Bell Acres. He worked as a body shop manager for Seretti Chevrolet, formerly Gourley Chevrolet, Northwest Chevrolet, formerly Gilner Chevrolet, and was a long time employee of Harveys Auto Body and Towing in Baden. His passions in life were classic cars and attending car cruises. He was an avid Lionel Train Collector and a Coca Cola collector. He was also a member of the Plasticville Collectors Association. Preceding him in death in addition to his mother were his in-laws, Charles and Anna Grove. Surviving in addition to his father are his loving wife of 43 years, Vickie Grove Lavelle, daughter, Kelly Lavelle of Bell Acres, two beloved grandchildren, Allison and Brooke, sister, Lynn Mutz of Bell Acres and James Deemer of Sewickley Hills, nieces, Kristy Mutz, Laura Grove and Jake Chartland, and Barbara (Graham) Taylor, great niece, Nettie Taylor, three great nephews, Joey and Wes Chartland and Frankie Taylor. brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Peter "Pete" and Debra Grove of Bell Acres.
Friends will be received Sunday from 1-5 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, from where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, Pa. 15001.
