Walter Dzikowski, Jr. Ambridge Walter Dzikowski, Jr., 86, of Ambridge, died Thursday, January 25, 2018, in Cure Health, Brighton Twp. He was born June 3, 1931, in Ambridge, Pa., to the late Walter Dzikowski, Sr. and Nellie Gorecki Dzikowski. He was an employee of the former Caplan Wholesale, Ambridge, where he worked in the warehouse and drove a truck. Walter attended St. John's Lutheran Church. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his first wife, Ida; five brothers, Anthony, Frank, Thomas, Raymond and Joseph; two sisters, Martha Wilcey and Helen Jesky, and a sister-in-law, Deborah Lewandowski. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Lewandowski Dzikowski; two sisters-in-law, Florence and Kay Dzikowski, both of Aliquippa; a brother-in-law, David Lewandowski of New Sewickley Twp., and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl (Jim) Ridjaneck of Conway. Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. in the John Syka Funeral Home Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Dennis Whalen will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
