Violet F. Huey, 92, of Economy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice of Beaver. She was born February 14, 1926, in Barnesboro, Pa., to the late Leonard and Beulah Faye Lamer Bergreen, Violet formerly attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Cranberry Twp. and was a member of Economy Senior Citizens. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Lloyd R. Huey, Sr.; an infant daughter; and three sons, Lloyd Huey, Jr., James E. Huey and Kerry Leonard Huey; a sister, Ruth M, Smith; a brother, James Bergreen; and her dear companion, William Berton. Surviving are four grandchildren, Mark (Kathie) Huey of Baden, and Kimberly, Renai and Amy; daughter-inlaw, Tammie Huey of Baden; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:30 P.M. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Private interment will be in Economy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001. The family would like to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for the loving and compassionate care extended to Violet during her final days.
