Susan Kay Hazen

Susan Kay Hazen, 70,  of New Brighton, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in Heritage Valley, Beaver. She born April 21, 1948 in Beaver Falls, Pa. to the late Keith and Dorothy (Thompson) Hazen. Susan was a retired registered nurse for numerous Dr's. and hospitals in the Philadelphia area and a member of Beth Samuel Jewish Center, Ambridge. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were a brother, Charles J. Hazen and a sister, Roberta Atkinson. She is survived by a sister, Patricia (Bill) Doyle of Brighton Twp, niece, Juliet and her partner Mary Thompson of New Brighton, nephews, Keith W. (Christine) Hazen of Pittsburgh, Michael Paul (Eowyn) Atkinson of New York, Jonathan Frederick Atkinson, and brother-law, Dennis Atkinson of Pittsburgh. 
Friends will be received Sunday from 12:30 pm until time of services at 1:00pm in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Beth Samuel Jewish Center, 810 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, Pa. 15003.
