Peggy Booterbaugh Obituary

Peggy Lee Booterbaugh, 66, of New Brighton, entered her eternal home on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in Heritage Valley Health System, Beaver with her loving daughter by her side.
She  was born May 26, 1952, in Phillipsburg Hospital, Clearfield Co. Pa. She was the youngest of 6 children to the late Denver and Laudell (Gallaher) Beers. Peggy and her siblings, Etta, (Chuck) Shank, of Willowick, OH, Lomoine (Sandy)  Beers of Coppers Cove, TX, the late Frances Simmons, the late Eugene Beers, and "the baby" stillborn, Mary Jane, who all grew up in Blanburg, PA. where she was a stay at home mom for her little girl, Frances Booterbaugh, in Glasgow, Pa. who now resides in Beaver Falls. She was a 1970 graduate of Glendale Jr. Sr. High School. After High School Peggy married Harry Booterbaugh and made a home in Glasgow, PA for her little girl, Frances.  Later in life she became a CNA where her talents for caring for others grew and flourished. Upon moving to New Brighton, in 2009, where she resided in the Thomas Bishop Apartments she continued to serve and support her daughter: enjoying the many adventures they experienced together. She attended Beaver Baptist Church and was active in her housing complex's tenants association. She will missed by many but is now free of pain and hardship: singing praises to her Lord forever. There was no public visitation. A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested in Peggy's memory to the American Cancer Society, as Peggy was a breast cancer survivor. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Ambridge, PA.
