Olga “Tootsie” Yorgin

Olga "Tootsie" Yorgin, age 91 of Economy, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Concordia at Villa St. Joseph, Baden. She was born July 13, 1927 in Ambridge to the late Marco and Mary Medic Roknick. She was a longtime member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, Aliquippa, president of Circle of Serbian Sisters, and member and Past Worthy Matron of the Ambridge OES. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Nick Yorgin and 2 brothers, Milan and Alexander Roknick. She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Sharon and Ron Churchin of Harmony Twp., two granddaughters, Loren (Nathan) Lang of Cranberry Twp., Ashton (Julian) Mikola of Cleveland, OH., 2 great grandchildren,  Bess and Jennie Lang, and a nephew, Mark (Kim) Roknick. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-5 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home,  Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where a Pomen Blessing Service will be held at 3:00 PM. Prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:20 followed by a church service at 10:00AM in St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, 2200 Main Street, Aliquippa with Father Dejan Barac officiating. Interment will follow in St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cemetery.
