Mary Darno

Mary Darno, 86, a resident of Masonic Village, formerly of Economy, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 in Heritage Valley, Sewickley. She was born March 4, 1933 in Cumbola, PA to the late John and Mary (Polansky) Constanty. She worked as a secretary for Builtrite Construction in Aliquippa and Karnavas Vending. Mary was a former member of St. John's Orthodox Church, Ambridge  and a current member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ambridge. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, George Darno, three brothers, Thomas, Edward, and Joseph Constanty and two sisters, Margaret Kline and Barbara Stiefel.  She is survived by two daughters, Marcia (Bob) Rinaldi of Moon Twp. and Diane Withers of Manassas, VA, five grandchildren, Ryan (Alyson) Rinaldi of Hopewell Twp., Todd Rinaldi of Moon Twp., Brandon, Tyler and Connor Withers, great grandson, Declan Rinaldi and a sister, Rose Gulish of Brighton Twp. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral liturgy on Thursday at 10 AM in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 404 Sixth Street Ambridge, PA 15003. Her pastor, Father Michael Polosky will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
