Jacqueline M. Waslo, 86, of Baden, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. She was born September 14, 1932 in Pittsburgh, to the late Walter and Mary (Janorosky) Wagner. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Ridge Road Elementary School in the Ambridge School District and after her retirement enjoyed working at Costco as a food demonstrator. She was a longtime member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ambridge. Her passions in life next to her family were baking and cooking for her family and friends and pinching pirohys at St. John's Church in Baden. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Paul J. Waslo and a daughter Sharon Waslo Prokopovich. She is survived by a daughter, Paula M. Waslo of Baden, a son, Richard (Wendy) Waslo of New Sewickley, grandchildren, Shana (Vernon IV) Krepps of Daugherty Twp., Erin Blazier of Baden, Eric Prokopovich and fiance Jessica Shearer both of Daugherty Twp., Brian Waslo of Westminster, CO, Melissa (Josh) Hopkins of New Sewickley, great grandchildren, Vernon Krepps V, Makenzie Krepps, Grayson Krepps, Kade Krepps, Mason Blazier, Hunter and Parker Hopkins, brother, Eugene (June) Wagner of Ambridge and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 PM with Parastas service at 3:30 PM. and from 6-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge from where a Panachyda service will be offered Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church with Father Michael Polosky officiating. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
