Harry L. Russell, 58, of Hopewell Township, died Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. He was born September 1, 1961 in Sewickley, to the late Virgil and Rose (Dequasie) Russell. He was the plant manager for Lehigh Hanson with 35 years of dedicated service. Harry was a 1981 graduate of Ambridge High School. He was president of the Ambridge Youth Association for numerous years, a member of the Hopewell VFW Post 8805, and was a member and assistant Fire Chief for the Harmony Township Volunteer Fire Department. His passion in life was spending time with his family and his weekend trips with his wife. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were a brother, Perry Russell, a sister, Helen Yoho, and two nephews, Kenny Dawson and Louis Yoho. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kimberly J. (Sebastian) Russell, a son, Shane E. (Melissa) Russell of Allison Park, a daughter, Kaitlyn N. (Kevin) Gulish of Harmony Twp., grandson, Karson Gulish, siblings, Andrea (Dennis) Yoho of Hookstown, Jennifer (Kevin) Dotson of Lumberport, WV, Norma Russell of Hookstown, Linda Snowden of Springs, CO, brother-in-law, Chuck Yoho of Raccoon Twp., numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-8 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, from where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery. Members of the Harmony Township Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a memorial service Thursday at 7 PM in the funeral home.
