Georgi-Ann (Pappis) Haniotes

Georgi-Ann (Pappis) Haniotes, age 62, of Beaver, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Beloved wife of 41 years of William M. (Bill) Haniotes; loving mother of Michael (Rachel) Haniotes, Nicholas (Alysha) Haniotes and Eleni Haniotes; cherished grandmother (yia-yia) of William, Logan, Jimmy, Ella, Alina, Ava, Aris, Gia and Dimitri; daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Spiros) Pappis; daughter- in-law of the late Michael and Irene Haniotes; sister of Gary (Carla) and Anthony (Marlene) Pappis; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Georgi-Ann was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Ambridge. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt; she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time of Trisagion Service at 4:30 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 2930 Beaver Road, Ambridge, with Father Emmanuel Lillios officiating. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. William Ferri and his staff for the loving and compassionate care given to Georgi-Ann during her illness.
