George J. Ory, Jr., 94, of Baden, was received into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. He was born April 17, 1925 in McKeesport, PA to the late George J. and Mary (Vernyi) Ory, Sr. He was a retired dispatcher for Port Authority Transit of Allegheny County. George was a man of faith who loved the Lord and his family. He lived his life as a patient, devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of Church of the Savior, Ambridge, and the Mars VFW. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during World War II. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a daughter-in-law, Donna Ory; and son, James Q. Stacy, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Martha (Stacy) Ory, two sons, James William Ory of Baden, George J. (Yvonne) Ory III of Freedom, daughter, Robin Joy (Paul) Reft of Rochester, John (Pamela) Stacy of California, Lisa Mawhinney of Coraopolis, grandchildren, Emily Del Favero, Brandon Klodowski, Catherine Wilson, George Ory IV, Zemi, Zoe, and Isabella Stacy, and Luke Cashdollar, great-grandchildren, Daniel and Austin Wilson and Kayley Ory. A private burial service was held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Church of the Savior with his pastor, the Rev. Dennett Buettner officiating. A special thank you to the staff and caregivers at Concordia Villa St. Joseph for their loving, compassionate care of George during his stay there.
