George Dziack Sr., 89 of Baden, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 2, 1929, in Ambridge, a son of the late John and Catherine Simkovich Dziack.
He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Ambridge VETS, enjoyed doing puzzles, spending time with his family, and loved being a father.
Surviving are his loving wife of 67 years, Virginia Dziack, 2 sons John (Barri) Dziack, George (Debbie) Dziack, 3 daughters Georgianne (Chuck) Costanza, Kathleen (Mark) DeBlassio, Virginia Dziack, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his daughter JoAnn Dziack, 2 brothers Steve & John Dziack, and a sister Catherine Dobrosielski.
Friends will be received on Friday from 3-8 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, from where a prayer will be offered on Saturday at 11 A.M. followed by a mass of christian burial at 11:30 A.M. in the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Baden.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park with full military honors.
