Frank J. Bosanac, Jr. 83, of Economy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 20, 1936 in Sewickley, to the late Frank J. and Mary (Pawlack) Bosanac, Sr. He was a retired bricklayer for the former Pittsburgh Forgings Company, Coraopolis and a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church, Ambridge. Frank's passions in life aside from spending time with his family were gardening, hunting, fishing, and feeding his birds. He honorably served his country during the Korean War as a forward observer paratrooper in the 456th Airborne Battalion of the US Army. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Rylott) Bosanac, son, Frank (Shelley) Bosanac of Ross Twp., daughter, Sue Palombo and Fernando Bevilaqua of Harmony Twp., six grandchildren, Frank H. Bosanac, Richie Palombo and Douglas Cole, William (Samantha) Palombo, Calvin Palombo, Randy Palombo, and Lexi Palombo, great grandson, Ryker Palombo, three sisters, Jean Bosanac of Harmony Twp., Shirley Vranic of Baden and Marian Jankiewicz of Leetsdale and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Saturday from 6-8 PM and Sunday from 1-5 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr., Ambridge where prayers will be offered Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Good Samaritan Catholic Church. Interment with full military honors provided by the Beaver County Special Unit and the US Army will follow at 11 AM in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
