Evelyn McCracken Obituary

Evelyn M. McCracken, 93, a resident of St.John's Specialty Care, Mars, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born February 21, 1926 in Sewickley, to the late Henry and Wilhelmina (Kindelberger) Mattern. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Economy and a retired employee in the coil winding department for Westinghouse Corporation with fifteen years service. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Bruce McCracken, a sister and six brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Gretchen (Gene) Miller and Tammy McCracken of Fort White, FL, three sons, Randy (Kathryn) McCracken of Chippewa, Roger (Leah) McCracken of Cranberry Twp., Timothy (Jeanne) McCracken of  Ambridge, eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great great grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home,  833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 AM with her pastor, the Rev. Jill McGregor officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
