Eva Moore Obituary

Eva K. (Placidi) Moore, age 85, a resident of Providence Health Care Center, Beaver Falls, formerly of Aliquippa, was received into the loving arms of her heavenly Father on Thursday, June 14, 2018, with her loving family by her side. "I am not sure exactly what heaven will be like, but I know that when we die and it comes time for God to judge us, He will not ask, "How many good things have you done in your life?" rather He will ask "How much love did you put into what you did?" Mother Teresa Eva was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Casciola Placidi. She was a long time member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Sewickley, where she sang in her beloved choir for many years. She was 1951 graduate of Aliquippa High School and in 1954 graduated from Sewickley Nursing School as a registered nurse. She traveled and worked in many places. After her retirement, she performed a variety of volunteer work. Her passion and most rewarding job was babysitting her beloved grandbabies, Emma, Abbey and Tabby. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her loving husband, Bill Moore; her beautiful angel granddaughter, Hope Pearl Moul; a brother, Gary Rosmini; and a brother-in-law, Robert Coccodrilli. She is survived by two daughters, Melanie (and her husband Howie) Moul of Sewickley and Eve Moore (and her husband Arnold Edwards) of Gloucester, Mass.; five grandchildren, Brittany Moul and her husband Neil Day, Morgan Moul and her fiancé Nick Tisistinas, Emma Moul, Tabitha Moul, and Abigail Moul; a sister, Loretta Coccodrilli; and three nieces, Lori, Lisa and Maria. A celebration of life for Eva will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 405 Frederick Ave., Sewickley, at a date and time to be announced in a future addition of the Times. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Center for Organ Recovery and Education, 204 Sigma Drive, RIDC Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. Arrangements have been entrusted to the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.
