David Bupp Obituary

David R. Bupp, 46, of Harmony Twp. died accidently on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. He was born December 4, 1972 in New Castle. He is the son of Robert and Sandra (Baldwin) Bupp of North Sewickley. David was a 1991 graduate of Riverside High School and a graduate of Community College of Beaver County. He served an apprenticeship with IBEW Local Union 712 and became a journeyman electrician. He was a travel softball coach for the Pittsburgh Spirit girls softball team. David was the assistant softball coach for Ambridge girls softball team and football coach for Ambridge Little Bridgers. He was a member of Ambridge Eagles, Baden Legion, Ambridge District Sportsman Association, and Masonic Lodge F&AM. His passion in life was his family and he enjoyed coaching softball, hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his buddies. Surviving in addition to his parents are his loving wife of 20 years, Brandie (DeVincent) Bupp, two daughters, Alexandrea and Alivea Bupp, sister, Robyn (Jim) Sheridan of North Sewickley, brother, Robert (Rochelle) Bupp of York, PA, mother in law and father in law Rick and Andrea DeVincent of Baden, brother-in-law, Craig DeVincent and his spouse, Scott Monroe of Orinda, CA, nieces and nephews, Ryan Edgell and Brianna Figurel, Austin, Logan, Brayden, Preston, and Madison Sheridan, Michael, Justin, and Cameron Bupp, Corey and Lauren Goucher, two great nephews, Landon Edgell and Justin Bupp, great niece, Olivia Figurel, numerous aunts and uncles, loving dog, Benelli, and his extended softball family, numerous friends, wonderful co-workers and neighbors. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Grace and John Bovard and paternal grandparents, Ellen and Paul Bupp and Effie Bupp. David was kind and giving and loved by all that knew him. He loved his family and friends and was extremely proud of his daughters, Alex and Alivea. Dave, or as his friends called him "Bupp" believed in living life to its fullest. He made and had friends everywhere he went. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and by everyone whose lives he touched.  Friends will be received Saturday from 2-8 PM and Sunday from noon to 5 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 11 AM in the Zions First Lutheran Church, 8th Street and Park Road, Ambridge. The Rev. Jeff Mackay, pastor of Harmony Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Pittsburgh Spirit Organization, in care of Rich Leviere, 607 Center Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15202.
