Christopher Badami, 42, of Industry, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in his home from a heart attack. He was born January 3, 1977 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Phillip Badami and Sue (David) Rychil of Brighton Township. Chris followed his dreams in opening his own pizza shop, Mary Jane's Pizzeria in Monaca which he co-owned and worked side by side with his wife Elizabeth. He had a tremendous passion for cars that were fast and loud. He enjoyed camping and loved riding quads with his two young sons and wife. Chris was a family man who always put his family first. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Preceding him in death in addition to his father was his mother-in-law, Mary Jane Hyre. He leaves behind his loving wife of ten years and long time friend of 21 years, Elizabeth Hyre Badami, two sons, Christopher Eric Badami, Jr., age 8 and Eric Joseph Badami, age 11, a daughter, Carissa Corrin Badami, age 21, two brothers, Shawn (Colleen) Badami of Huntersville, NC, Bryan Badami and Amy Pantaleo of Sewickley, father-in-law, Michael Hyre and Kathy Maier of Baden, brother-in-law, Christopher (Zippy) Hyre of Baden, niece, Anastasia Badami and nephew, Austin Pantaleo. Friends will be recieved Monday from 2-4 and 6 until time of funeral services at 8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be made payable to Elizabeth Badami % John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA 15003, for the establishment of the Christopher Eric Badami, Jr. and Eric Joseph Badami Education Fund.
