Audrey P. Mauk, 88, of Moon Township passed away peacefully on August 15, 2018. Audrey was born February 16, 1930 in South Heights, PA. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Sophie Cichoski. She was a 1948 graduate of Ambridge Area High School. Audrey married Marvin R. Gordon in 1952 who preceded her in death. She later on married Edward L. Mauk in 1965 who also precedes her in death.
In her early years she was a secretary of Bankert Steel Company. Later on she was a long time employee of McDonald’s in Moon Township where she retired. She enjoyed her family, her house, decorating, flowers, crocheting, and baking cookies.
Audrey is survived by three daughters, Linda Fenchak of Knox, Donna Stumpf and her husband Keith of Economy Borough, and Rhonda Aiello and her husband Joseph of Moon Township; three grandchildren Rob Fenchak of Knox, Amy Peterson and her husband Michael of North Carolina, and Robin Stumpf of Butler; also, three great grandchildren, Derik Fenchak, Jacob Peterson and Brooke Peterson; a sister Dolly Hartman of Michigan and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by five brothers Lank, Gilbert, John, Chester, and Leon Cichoski; three sisters Katheryn McDonald, Theresa Kolder, and Helen Palmieri; and a son-in-law Robert Fenchak.
Viewing will be at Syka Funeral Home on Friday from 4pm to 8pm and funeral Service will be at 9am on Saturday. Interment at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery on Brodhead Road in Aliquippa. Brunch for family and close friends following at The Fez.
