Anna M. Grove

Anna M. Grove, 82 of Ambridge, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 in UPMC Mercy as a result of injuries sustained in her home fire.
She  was born January 24, 1936, in Clarion Co., Pa., to the late Charles C. and Audrey Pursch Fennell. Preceding  her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Charles E. Grove, sister, Bertha Sturm and two brothers, Charles and William Fennell.
Surviving are a daughter, Vickie (Bill) Lavelle of Bell Acres, a son, Charles P. "Pete" (Debbie) Grove of Bell Acres, three grandchildren, Kelly Lavelle and Mike Jula of Ambridge,  Barbara "Barbie" (Graham) Taylor of Bell Acres,  Laura Grove and her fiance Jake Chartrand of Leet Twp., three great granddaughters, Allison and Brooke Dugan,  Nettie Taylor, three great grandsons, Joey and Wes Chartrand and Frankie Taylor, two sisters, Virginia Ernest of Glendale, WV,  and Betty McDonald of Ambridge. Private visitation and a funeral service were held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc.  Interment took place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park alongside her husband Charles.
