Vincent Percy Economy Vincent Percy, 93, of Economy, died Friday, February 16, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice of Beaver. Born September 28, 1924, in Sewickley, Pa., to the late Bronislaw and Zofija Pietrzykowski, he owned and managed Vince's Barber Shop in Ambridge for 62 years. Vince was an avid bowler, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church, Ambridge; Ambridge Eagles, Baden American Legion, Ambridge District Sportsman Association, Ambridge VFW, Knights of Columbus, Polish Falcons, PNA and Polish Rome Catholic Union of America. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Percy; a brother, Chester Pietrzykowski, and a sister, Stella Seech. Surviving are two sons, David Percy, with whom he resided, Thomas and Cathy Percy of Cranberry Township; step-granddaughter, Stevie; three great-grandchildren, Bryant, Addison, and Mikayla; a brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Elizabeth Pietrzykowski of Ambridge; a brother-in-law, Mike Trugan and Fay Brown of Valencia; a nephew, Guy and Sally Trugan, Mars, Pa.; three nieces, Ruth and Bob Hall, Ambridge; Marie Nolan, Woodbridge, Va. and Stephanie and Ed Trena, Pittsburgh; a great-niece, Lauran and a great-nephew, Ryan. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 11 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. in Good Samaritan Church. Interment with full military honors will follow at 12:45 p.m. in Good Samaritan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Beaver County Special Unit, Monaca Post 580, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061.
