Pauline Giammaria, 91, of Ambridge, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018, in Villa St. Joseph. She was born January 17, 1927, in Ambridge, Pa., to the late Charles and Mary Lolli Giammaria She was a baker for the former Paul's Bakery, Ambridge. Pauline was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church, Ambridge, and was an avid bingo player. Surviving are three sisters, Eleanor Shemelya of Arizona, Josephine (Steve) Polacek of Baden, and Frances Farelli of Sewickley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 11 a.m. until time of prayers at noon in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12:30 p.m. in Good Samaritan Catholic Church. Private interment will follow in Good Samaritan Parish Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Villa St. Joseph for the loving and compassionate care extended to Pauline while under their care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Villa St. Joseph, 1030 State Street, Baden, Pa. 15005.
